BREAKING NEWS: Palin endorses Obama for President
PALIN: (speech) And I do look forward to Thursday night and debating Senator Joe Biden. We’re gonna talk about those new ideas, new energy for America. I’m looking forward to meeting him too. I’ve never met him before. But I’ve been hearing about his Senate speeches since I was in like second grade.
COURIC: (interview) You made a funny comment, you said you’ve been listening to Joe Biden’s speeches since you were in second grade. Something like that…
PALIN: Since 72…
COURIC: When you have a 72-year-old running mate, is that a kinda something risky to say? Insinuating that Joe Biden’s been around for a while?
PALIN: Oh no, its nothing negative at all. He’s got lots of experience. Just stating the fact there that we’ve been hearing his speeches for all of these years. So, he’s got a tremendous amount of experience, and you know, I’m the new energy, the new face, the new ideas. And he’s got the experience based on many many eyars in the Senate. And voters are going to have a choice there on what it is they want in theese next four years.
Finally, after many months of intense campaigning, we’ve reached a consensus. Its not about experience or the number of years serving America. No, its about new ideas and new energy; a new face for America. Take Back the Flag brings you the breaking news that Governor Sarah Palin, Republican Nominee for Vice President of the United States of America, today endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States of America. She didn’t exactly say it in those words, but when she presented the clear “choice” to American voters, between “experience in the Senate” and “new ideas,” she made no effort to hide her own choice. And she chose new, hands down.
This statement, from the woman who’s Republican allies cry “sexism” every time the media utters the name “Palin” and who is currently running on a ticket with a 72-year-old man (potentially the oldest president in history–see www.thingsyoungerthanmccain.com for some perspective), is offensive, absurd, and stupid. How dare she make such an ageist comment when she demands fair treatment from the press? How dare she make such an ignorant ageist comment when her party’s candidate for president–the highest office of the land–is six years older than the victim of her smear. How dare she consider herself qualified for any elected office in America with absolute illogical mind.
Watch the YouTube clips–Palin’s proved herself to be a formidable debater. Hopefully she won’t have the cue cards tomorrow night to keep up on the issues. Maybe then the American people will see her in her true light: arrogant, selfish, and unprepared. Unfortuantely, the expectations couldn’t be any lower. Our expecations are bottomed out, and to exceed those low standards, she only needs to shake hands with Joe Biden and the moderator without tripping over a pregnant daughter dancing with state trooper while eating a moose. That shouldn’t be too tough. Here’s hoping her performance–while better than those low expectations–is revealing of her true character.
Latest rumors say Palin is practicing with the McCain campaign campaign for the debate near a stream by one of McCain’s many luxury homes. Has she been to Missouri anywhere near Washington University in St. Louis? The calm of stream won’t be exactly what she finds in the Athletic Complex on campus…

you poor sad people. Nobama is othing but a racist in denial, and cannot become President because he was born in Kenya. The birth certificate posted on his website is detectable as a forgery by any child

Yes, Nancy, detectable as a forgery by any child…any conspiracy theorist child raised by right wing wackos in a home that rewards the child when they make up false claims about anyone they think may be a liberal, and therefore communist!
Anyway, funny post. I heard it like that as well. If Palin was supporting a candidate based on the Pakistan issue, change, or energy policy, she’d vote for Obama.
